CDT - May 2023

The OneHome team canceled May's Community Design Team on Thursday, May 18th. We respect the community's time and efforts and as such, find this month's content better communicated here. Please review the following content in lieu of this month's meeting:

Step 1

CQ Factsheet

This Assessors and Priority Queue Fact Sheet answers commonly asked questions about the OneHome Community Queue. Learn about the different Priority Queues and how to manage your clients effectively.

Step 2

CDT Poll

What cadence works best for Community Design Team (CDT) meetings? We currently meet once a month.

Step 3

EHV Update

Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHVs) have allowed us to address the needs of households that would not otherwise be prioritized for housing through Coordinated Entry. Per the American Rescue Plan Act, all households with an EHV must be leased up by September 30, 2023 or the voucher expires. After September 30, EHVs will not be re-issued if a household loses their voucher for whatever reason. At this time, all EHVs across the Metro Denver CoC have been allocated.

Any additional referrals will be made on a case by case basis. We want to ensure that we fully utilize the EHV program while not over-referring given the September 30 deadline for voucher utilization. For the time being, the RRH to EHV assessment will remain in HMIS. However, newly completing the assessment is unlikely to result in a housing outcome for the folks you are working with.

We encourage you to reach out to OneHome if you are concerned that a household will not be able to lease-up by September 30.
